PRESENTLY, THERE IS NO ALTERNATE ROUTE TO MIDLAND STREET. SUPERVISORS HAVE IDENTIFIED AN ALTERNATE ROUTE FROM DUNDAFF STREET IN CARBONDALE WHICH MAY BE PRACTICAL.

10. RENTAL HOUSE ANNUAL REPORT. SOME STILL NOT RECEIVED. IF YOU DO NOT OCCUPY THE RESIDENCE A REPORT IS REQUIRED ANNUALLY. THIS INCLUDES AN OCCUPANCY PERMIT.

11. UNAUTHORIZED USE OF PROPERTY FOR AN AUTO STORAGE FACILITY ON MAIN STREET. SOLICITOR TO COMMENT. MOTION BY ANN MARIE, SEC BY JOE, CARRIED 3/0 TO FILE CHARGES.

NEW BUSINESS

1. AMBULANCE DISPATCHING PROTOCOL BY 911. THE COUNTY IS DISPATCHING AMBULANCES VIA GPS TRACKING. THIS MEANS THAT THE NEAREST AMBULANCE WILL BE DISPATCHED TO EACH CALL . THE COUNTY STATES THAT ACCORDING TO PA LAW IF OUR MUNICIPALITY ENTERS INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR AMBULANCE SERVICES WITH A PRIVATE PROVIDER , THE COUNTY MUST DISPATCH THAT PROVIDER EVEN IF ANOTHER UNIT NOT AFFILIATED WITH THAT PROVIDER IS LOCATED CLOSER TO THE CALL. COUNTY 911 DOES NOT RECOMMEND THE SELECTION OF A SINGLE AMBULANCE PROVIDER. DISCUSSION?

2. UTILITY GARAGE FOR TOWNSHIP. THE PLANNED GARAGE IS 20 FEET WIDE BY 32 FEET LONG. IT WILL HOUSE EQUIPMENT AND A SECTION WILL BE PROVIDED TO STORE DECORATIVE LIGHTING. THE BUILDING WILL BE BUILT BY TOWNSHIP CREW. THE CONCRETE FLOOR AND SIDE WALL ARE COMPLETED. THE ROOF SYSTEM REMAINS. A STEEL ROOF AND SIDE WALLS ARE RECOMMENDED TO MATCH THE OTHER BUILDINGS. 3. UGI WILL BEGIN EXCAVATION AT THE MORSE AVENUE BRIDGE TO INSTALL A NEW GAS LINE IN SUPPORT OF A PROJECT IN WAYMART. IT WILL LAST ABOUT TWO MONTHS.

4. DIMES FROM HEAVEN REQUESTS TOWNSHIP SUPPORT FOR A GRANT REQUEST FROM PA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (DCED) TO RENOVATE THE COMMUNITY CENTER AT THE OLD FELL SCHOOL. THE RENOVATIONS WILL INCLUDE BATHROOM FACILITIES, CORRIDORS AND ENTRANCES, NEW CEILINGS AND THE EXISTING GYMNASIUM. DISCUSSION? RESOLUTION? ANN MARIE., JOE CARRIED 3/0.

FORECLOSURE COMPANIES PAY OUTSTANDING SEWER BILLS, HOWEVER, SOME INDIVIDUALS DECLARED BANKRUPTCY IN AN ATTEMPT TO DISMISS THEIR OBLIGATION. UTILITY BILLS STAY WITH PROPERTY. 3. REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF MAIN SUPPORT BEAMS IN THE GARAGE SECTION OF THE TOWNSHIP BUILDING WAS COMPLETED BY TOWNSHIP CREW. THE SUPPORT BEAMS WERE ROTTED OUT BY SALT ACTION. SAMPLE PIECES ARE ON THE TABLE TO THE REAR OF THIS ROOM. THE CENTER SECTION OF THE BUILDING SETTLED BY TWO INCHES AND HAD TO BE RAISED. THE CONCRETE FLOOR SECTION REMAINS TO BE INSTALLED.

3. THOMPSON PROPERTY (LOCATED ON 43RD STREET). THE OWNERS OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED ON 21, 43RD STREET COMPLIED WITH THEIR AGREEMENT TO DEMOLISH SAID PROPERTY. LANDFILL MATERIALS REMOVED. BACKFILL PROCESS REMAINS.
4. BURNT BUILDING ON MAIN STREET. NO PLANS SUBMITTED BY OWNERS TO DATE.
5. BUILDING LOCATED ON 204 MORSE (MARJER) NO RESPONSE FROM CONTEMPT OF COURT CHARGES FILED BY THE TOWNSHIP. PROPERTY WILL BE LISTED FOR JUDICIAL SALE ON 11 MARCH .
