FROM: LINDA TURNER, CRYSTAL LAKE REGARDING THE SIGNING OF DUNDAFF STREET AND CRYSTAL LAKE ROAD. (NOTE: SIGNS WERE CHANGED TO REFLECT 911 RECORDS. ) FROM: LACKAWANNA CONSERVATION DISTRICT DIRECTING ROSEWOOD ESTATES (JAMES THORNTON) TO PROVIDE AN EROSION PLAN FOR NEW BUILDING LOT. FROM: GRIFFIN POND ANIMAL SHELTER REQUESTING A DONATION (THEY RECEIVE NO TAX MONEY). TO: PENNSYLVANIA GAME COMMISSION REGARDING THE COYOTE PROBLEM. SOME WERE SHOT IN AREA THAT WERE 45 POUNDS AND 5 AND ½ FEET IN LENGTH.

BALANCE ON FUND AS OF 30 AUGUST IS $783,400.02.

4. OLD LINCOLN SCHOOL. NO VISIBLE ACTIVITY. LAST MONTH‘S PROMISE APPARENTLY MORE OF THE SAME..

5. ACT 32 EIT TAX COMMITTEE . COMMITTEE WILL SELECT A TAX COLLECTOR THIS WEEK. 5 COMMERCIAL AND ONE GOVERNMENT AGENCY (SCRANTON) APPLIED. ANN MARIE IS FELL’S VOTING REPRESENTATIVE.

6. SINNOTT PROPERTY (OLD COOK STORE) ON OWEGO STREET–TWO YEARS NO CLEANUP. NO VISIBLE ACTIVITY

7. COSTARS (STATE) SALT BID SUPPLIER IS CARGILL @55.93 PER TON DELIVERED. LAST YEAR IT WAS 33.20 PER TON.

8. REGARDING THE CARBONDALE INDUSTRIAL PARK AND THE RAIL HEAD–FELL TOWNSHIP HAS RECEIVED NO REQUEST FOR PERMITTED ACTIVITY.

9. GRASS ISLAND OFF RESERVOIR STREET WAS CUT BY PENDOT. FELL WILL TREAT NEXT YEAR.

10. MORRIS AVE (FABWELD) BRIDGE. NOTICE TO PROCEED ISSUED.

11. THOMPSON PROPERTY, 43RD ST. LETTER. SOLICITOR COMMENT. SUPERVISOR COMMENTS.

NEW BUSINESS

1. MOTION TO RENT “TRUCK MODEL” STREET SWEEPER FOR 2011. ABOUT $350 PER DAY.

2. LETTER FROM GRIFFIN POND ANIMAL SHELTER REQUESTING FUNDS? MOTION?

3. FELL CHARTER SCHOOL– WE HAVE NO REQUEST FOR PERMITS OR TIMETABLE. WE DID RECEIVE COMPLAINTS ABOUT SAFETY CONCERNS REGARDING THE SCHOOL.

4. CRAWFORD AVENUE STORM WATER LINE COLLAPSED. ONE HALF WAS REPLACED LAST YEAR. SINCE IT IS SO CLOSE TO THE GAS LINE IT MAY REQUIRE HAND DIGGING. WORK HAS STARTED.
